The most powerful and diverse video platform allows users to watch movies, dramas, animations, and live streams anytime, anywhere through their devices. With an extensive library and various payment plans, it satisfies everyone's desire for video content.
This redesign spans four platforms: RWD web, iOS, Android mobile, and tablet interfaces, with a comprehensive overhaul of functional flows and visual design.
We streamlined and clarified previously confusing payment plans, optimizing the interface. Additionally, we introduced sections for film critics and social sharing to meet different user needs, allowing avid moviegoers to access a variety of insights and content, enriching the platform experience.
With a massive customer base and over ten thousand TV programs, friDay Video faces the challenge of simplifying processes while enhancing user experience and effectively promoting its existing strengths. This was no small feat.
After understanding and initiating the project, we took the next step by engaging in discussions with the client and various users to explore and identify the key points they valued most. By assessing different use cases and summarizing insights from multiple perspectives, we focused on key areas: robust functionality, ease of use for the interface, and cross-device compatibility. From a marketing perspective, we also strengthened social interactions and added various themed sections, enabling users to discover even more possibilities on the platform.
Throughout the entire project, in addition to daily fixed meetings with internal team members, we maintained regular discussions with the client to review and refine details. After completing the first phase of the redesign, we continued with internal adjustments and testing, eventually moving on to the second phase of the redesign. Whether it was the project team members or the client's project team, we stayed closely aligned each day to track progress and resolve any issues that arose.

This allows users to precisely find the videos they're looking for amid a vast library, while also discovering new possibilities.

To deepen the user's video experience and revamp the platform's image, we leveraged the platform's abundant playlist resources and set out to integrate a 'cinema' concept. The goal was to provide users with a more premium and refined visual experience. For the playlist and thematic banner designs, we adopted large panoramic layouts to maximize visual impact. The backgrounds were kept in dark tones to create a cinematic atmosphere, ensuring the spotlight remains on the real star—the content itself.
Visit WebsiteOn the homepage, we set up featured recommendations and various themed video sections, allowing users to quickly browse trending and popular videos. By leveraging friDay's own media resources, we planned film reviews and related media interviews to boost user interest and interaction. We can also segment the social community by offering various types of content, from in-depth analyses to entertainment reviews, attracting different user demographics. This approach increases platform engagement and helps promote the service.
Track viewing progress and episode numbers for every show, and set notifications for new releases, making it easier for binge-watchers to stay up to date. Users can easily pick up right where they left off, even when following multiple series.
